Installation of automatic flow monitoring system in Sundarijal Water Supply Treatment Plant

One automatic water monitoring station is installed in gate 32 of KUKL, Sundarijal Watersupply Treatment Plant for measuring the water release in Bagmati River as a return of water according to water battering principle with Dhap Dam (ADB funded project). The project will take certain volume of water from Dhap dam during its highest demand time and will return the same volume to Bagmati River in their need time as a repay to Dhap dam project. The station is serving as the water volume measuring tool for operating the water battering system hence it is very important to run this station uninterruptedly. All the flow measurement data can be viewed online on real-time basis.
